This exquisite pure wool crêpe embodies the excellence of Biella’s textile craftsmanship, from the world’s most renowned wool-producing district.

An exceptional fabric distinguished by its woven selvedge lettering, an exclusive detail incorporated along the edge that certifies its authenticity and outstanding 100% Made in Italy craftsmanship.

With its remarkably fluid and soft drape, combined with a natural resistance to creasing, this fabric is an outstanding choice for refined women’s tailoring and couture garments requiring movement, elegance and impeccable draping.

Superior Crêpe Spinning

The special twist of the yarn creates a subtly textured surface and a naturally crease-resistant structure, helping garments maintain an impeccable appearance on every occasion.

Fluid and Graceful Drape

The fabric gently follows the contours of the body without stiffness, creating a soft, flowing and beautifully feminine silhouette.

Style and Tailoring Suggestions

The exceptional fluidity and weight of this wool make it particularly suitable for high-end women’s tailoring:

  • Flowing dresses and skirts: Ideal for enhancing the fabric’s elegant and sinuous drape.
  • Suits and blazers: Perfect for refined, softly structured or unstructured women’s jackets.
  • Fluid trousers: Particularly suited to wide-leg and palazzo styles that require a fabric with movement and a graceful flow with every step.

Care and Maintenance

To preserve the softness and natural elasticity of this fine Biella wool over time, we recommend following these care instructions:

  • Cleaning: Dry clean only, using a professional gentle cleaning process. Do not machine wash and do not bleach.
  • Drying: Do not tumble dry. Dry the garment flat, away from direct heat sources and strong sunlight.

Ironing: Iron at a medium temperature suitable for wool (max. 150°C / 302°F), preferably inside out or with a damp pressing cloth placed between the iron and the fabric to protect the crêpe finish. Moderate use of steam helps naturally restore and refresh the fibres
