EXCEPTIONAL NATURAL IVORY VELOUR

  • A fabric of sophisticated elegance and absolute comfort, born from the prestigious Biella textile tradition. This exclusive velour fabric combines the nobility of exceptionally high-quality cashmere with the structure and durability of pure virgin wool. Featuring a sheared finish that is nevertheless remarkably rich, lofty and full-bodied, it comes in a refined natural classic ivory shade, far removed from optical white, lending a warm and timeless luminosity to any tailored creation. Biella Stock Production (sourced from high-fashion production surplus – unbranded fabric and not supplied with labels).
  • Soft and Lofty Finish: The distinctive velour finishing process gives the fabric a rich, airy and pleasantly substantial texture, capable of retaining warmth exceptionally well while maintaining structural lightness.
  • Soft, Enveloping Handle: Exceptionally soft and plush to the touch, it provides a feeling of complete comfort and protection together with an impeccable drape, making it ideal for garments with soft, flowing lines.

Recommended Uses (Unisex Haute Tailoring Fabric)

Its rich body and extraordinary softness make it an ideal choice for winter outerwear where comfort and style take centre stage:

  • Cocoon Style: Perfect for creating cocoon-style coats — enveloping, egg-shaped or oversized silhouettes — that enhance the fabric’s naturally lofty and soft character.
  • Tailored Outerwear: Very warm long coats, structured yet soft jackets and majestic winter capes.

Made-to-Measure Service: We are pleased to inform our customers that custom-made capes and throws can be ordered in this exquisite fabric. For further information, please visit the Customized Accessories section.

Specialist Care & Maintenance

To preserve the fabric’s lofty velour structure and the softness of its fibres over time:

  • Entrust the fabric exclusively to specialised professionals for gentle dry cleaning.
  • Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry.
  • Iron at low temperature, taking care not to flatten the fabric’s structure. Steam applied from a distance is recommended.
