Noble Blend “Luce d’Angora”: Softness, Warmth and Comfort
- A Sensory Experience: defined by enveloping softness, lightness and warmth. This exceptional fabric has a substantial yet comfortable medium weight and is created from a blend of some of the world’s noblest fibres: Cashmere, Angora and Virgin Wool. Combined together, they provide excellent thermal insulation and an extraordinarily soft, warm and velvety handle.
Its most distinctive feature lies in the precious, lustrous Angora fibres woven directly into the structure of the fabric. This structural yarn emerges naturally from within the weave, giving the cloth a vibrant appearance and a magnetic black-on-black sheen, capable of capturing and reflecting ambient light.
- Medium Weight (260 g/linear metre): A perfectly balanced and versatile weight, offering the right degree of structure without ever feeling heavy or rigid.
- Intrinsic Lustre: The noble Angora fibres woven into the fabric break up the opacity of the black, infusing it with an elegant and luxurious sheen.
- Recommended Uses: Exceptionally versatile thanks to its combination of body and softness. It is ideal for creating tailored jackets, skirts, dresses and refined casual trousers, while also lending itself beautifully to iconic, enveloping accessories such as capes, stoles and shawls.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Dry clean only at a specialist cleaner. Due to the delicacy of the noble fibres, particularly Angora and Cashmere, washing in water must be avoided in order to prevent felting and preserve the lustrous fibres woven into the fabric.
- Drying: Do not tumble dry. Allow the garment to rest hanging on a suitable shaped hanger.
- Ironing: Iron at a low temperature (max. 110°C / 230°F), exclusively on the reverse side and with a protective cotton pressing cloth placed between the iron and the fabric, in order to avoid flattening the Angora fibres.
- Resting: Take advantage of the natural resilience of these noble fibres. Leave the jacket, cape or garment hanging outside the wardrobe overnight to allow the Angora and Cashmere to naturally recover their original volume and softness.
PHOTOGRAPHIC / VIDEO NOTE: Due to the exceptional quality of the Angora and its natural ability to reflect light, in digital media such as photographs and videos the lustrous fibres woven into the fabric may create mirrored highlights with a silvery or whitish appearance. In person, however, the fabric appears as a complete, deep and absolute black. The Angora contributes only a refined reflection of pure light, without any actual alteration of the underlying black colour.
